Service and Technical Information

Information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service may also be processed. This can include authentication information and basic technical and service activity.

How Information Is Used

BaitBatch uses information to:

  • Provide and operate BaitBatch
  • Save and display your information
  • Authenticate accounts
  • Provide subscription access
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain security
  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Improve the service

Recipe Privacy

Your BaitBatch recipes and recipe information remain private to your account by default. BaitBatch includes optional sharing features that let you intentionally share a recipe with a BaitBatch friend, invite someone by email to view a shared recipe after creating an account, or publish a recipe to the BaitBatch Community Recipes area. Recipe notes are excluded from a share by default unless you specifically choose to include them. You can also save an independent copy of a recipe another user shared with you; that saved copy becomes part of your own recipe library. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to operate the service, comply with law, or protect the service or its users.

Payments

BaitBatch uses Stripe to process subscription payments. BaitBatch does not store complete payment-card numbers. Payment information is processed by Stripe according to Stripe's own privacy and security practices.

Service Providers

BaitBatch relies on third-party technology and service providers that are necessary to operate the application, including hosting/infrastructure, authentication, storage, email, and payment-processing services.

Data Retention

Information may be retained while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.

Account Deletion

You can request account deletion through the existing BaitBatch account-deletion process. Deleting your account removes applicable BaitBatch user data according to that process, while certain limited transaction and subscription records may need to be retained for legitimate legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or payment-processing purposes.

Children

BaitBatch is not directed toward children under 13, and BaitBatch does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13.
